PROFESSIONAL ZOMBIE MAKEOVERS!
For zombies who want to look their bloody best we will have a PRO ZOMBIE FX ARTIST'S ALLEY at the historic Asbury Park Convention Hall where ghouls can get a professional makeover for a nominal fee. This fee is to cover the cost of the artist's makeup supplies and their hard work. Since every zombie wants a different look, and some looks are more time consuming than others to apply this year there will be 3 different kinds of zombie makeovers available:

$15 BASIC ZOMBIE MAKEOVER:
Consists of a deadening of the skin, sinking of the eyes and a few small wounds or blood marks. Generally speaking this would be a 'freshly dead' look.

$30 GROSS ZOMBIE MAKEOVER:
Building on the basic zombie look with more wounds, latex gashes, gore, etc. Attaching of small prosthetics (for sale at the walk or you can bring one from home). This is more of a 'rotting dead' or 'zombie victim' look.

$50 TOTAL ZOMBIE MAKEOVER:
This is if you really want to look disgusting. Applying of larger prosthetics (again please bring your own), extra wounds on arms/legs can be added, and embellishing of the zombie facial features. This tier is for zombies who truly want to look their worst!

WHERE DO I PAY FOR MY ZOMBIE MAKEOVER?
CAN I USE A CREDIT CARD?
As you arrive to the Convention Hall tickets for professional zombie makeovers will be for sale by the main entrance to the Makeup Artist Area. Cash & Credit Cards will both be accepted. Makeovers will be given on a first come first serve basis.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE IF I WANT TO HAVE MY MAKEUP DONE BY A PRO?
If you plan to get a professional makeover GET TO THE ZOMBIE WALK EARLY! Makeup Artists will be available starting at 10:00AM. First come, first served! Lines will get cut off at 3:30PM and no makeup will be done by artists after 4:00PM, they want to be part of the Walk too!

WHAT IF I DON'T WANT A ZOMBIE MAKEOVER?
That's fine! Lots of zombies come to the walk already in their makeup. There are some great zombification tutorials on our website and YouTube if you need ideas for doing your own makeup.

WILL THERE BE MAKEUP I CAN USE AT THE WALK?
No, but you can bring your own makeup to the Zombie Walk. There are a lot of party stores that carry makeup all year round. We recommend if you can to pick up a makeup kit ahead of time and bringing it to the boardwalk if you'd like to do your own makeup.

CAN I CHOOSE THE ARTIST THAT DOES MY MAKEOVER?
In order to have everyone transformed before the walk, we have to bring each customer to the next available artist. This helps move the line quickly so that you can enjoy the rest of your day shambling around Asbury instead of “being on the line ride”.

CAN I WATCH MY FRIEND GET TRANSFORMED?
Because we have brought in so many talented makeup artists to move the line quickly, we are unable to let you watch your friend get transformed. We have a maximum capacity in the Makeup Alley that we must adhere to. The only exceptions to this would be parents accompanying their small children or people with special needs.

WHERE IS THE CONVENTION HALL?
The Convention Hall is a massive, historic building located on the north end of the Asbury Park Boardwalk.
